That episode was so great! It would be an amazing lesbian rom com on its own, but with them getting on the plane together

4 x 10 was the best episode this season and Carly's Run Away with me was used in an iconic fashion. I just hope those two see each other again when they are both in better places individually. Thats the strongest romance link I've ever felt on this show.

people were speculating that this ties in somehow. which makes sense because of... the name? and Esmail doesn't do anything by chance. but I don't understand it since I'm a plebe.

it's reminding me of the matrix a bit (Eliot is stuck in the "perfect" alt reality), but I'm also assuming it does tie back to mental illness somehow since I don't feel like springing a sci-fi thing at the end is likely? again, I have no idea. I also think he'll ultimately reject it because Darlene isn't there.

I was reading about this yesterday and it totally make sense tbh, Elliot is doing everything over and over again, that's why hes in the F-corp "universe", bc he did the other letters already. It would be a great twist BUT sam esmail said several times that it's not a sci fi show so I'm confused now

I honestly feel like he could have been straight up lying about that but there’s too many clues that add up that aren’t trauma related (like forgetting the abuse) but forgetting Darlene, those missing three days etc for me to be on that train anymore.

I’m just gonna stock up on the wine for next week.

Someone mentioned on twitter that his alarm at the end went off at 11:16, then later on when his dad called, the time was still 11:16, the time on the clock in the nuclear plant was 11:16, and the clock in his mom's room where she died was stopped at 11:16.
