I know someone that got a matching tattoo of "you are the blood in my veins" with their sister and they did it in each other's hand writing and then the sister died and then this scandal came out and it came out that exact song is about a literal child and... I cannot imagine being in that situation.

Anyhow I have been getting any music/band related tattoos I have covered up bc I had 2 and I don't want a pedo scandal to happen

So many of the soundcloud rappers are so violent. It's nothing new for music, but it makes me really sad.

They aren't held accountable and then they are lifted up as a saint. I can't imagine if my musical heroes growing up (90s pop and rnb) had such violent histories that I knew about. The cognitive dissonance would be so stressful.

Actually, I liked Eminem a lot as a youth, so I guess I did some separating the art from the artist. The idea of the ~tortured male artist~ is so romanticized and normalized. So fucked up.
