good for them. I'm not religious, but having a wedding on a plantation seems like having it on whatever the opposite of holy ground is. how could anyone think that's a good idea is a mystery

Good! I was in a wedding group where a woman tried to brag about her family’s weddings.

One was in an old sugar plantation with slave quarters in Haiti and one was on a beach in Thailand with a chained elephant.

She thought they were so cute and wonderful but in reality it was horrible in so many different ways
