De-cluttering queen Marie Kondo has launched an online shop as part of her website - just in time for the holidays! Take a look at some of the items that might spark joy for you:
Honestly I found Marie’s book incredibly helpful to be more mindful about the things I buy and helped me get rid of stuff I was hanging on to.
Her book is full of tips like saving shoeboxes for organizing so the price tags on some of the stuff in her store seems outrageous but I don’t think it totally contradicts her book. If it brings you joy, go for it.
yeah I haven't read her book so correct me if I'm wrong, but I've seen a couple episodes of the Netflix show and I don't recall her ever saying "don't buy new things," but rather "don't hold onto a ton of garbage shit you don't need/use"
Her book does try to discourage you from buying new things she feels you don’t need. More like mindful buying. She definitely shares her opinions on what you can do without. I don’t think her specially curated site completely contradicts her philosophy but I also don’t think it helps it or complements it.

And any time there's a post with a bunch of tweets it makes me so glad I'm not on twitter, people sound insufferable.

That being said, the extreme hate people have for her and deliberately misinterpretating her show to mock her was racist.
But capitalism is ugly lmao.
