Was he one of the directors that hates Netflix or does he do know where the money is.

He released Roma on netflix. He obviously would prefer the theater format but I think he mentioned that a b&w film in spanish with a indigenous lead wasn't something the studios were running to back.

No, okay. I don't keep up with snobbish directors. Roma was beautiful.

I think he for the most part is okay~ with streaming. Spielberg, Scorsese, Spike Lee have been more resistant to the streaming format.

Scorsese had to release the irishman on netflix because I think they were the only ones willing to back his budget but he def did not want that option lol.
