I'm glad he's recovered and hope he stays in the race.

It won't matter much in the primaries.

If he were to win the nom, the right would feast on it in the general.

It will matter. People will see him as unfit. He is gone.

The people who were going to vote for him in the primaries largely are dismissing this and will still vote for him in them. No one on the dem side is going to use this against him, to make it a significant game changer.

He isn’t going to win the nom (and wasn’t before this) anyway - but it’s only if he somehow did, that it would become a big issue, because the right and the media would blow it up huge, however hypocritically.

Of course people who are supporting Biden or Warren will be using this against him. They might send some nice tweets but their voters will be bringing this up all the time.

Old people have heart problems.

Another reason why 78 is just too fucking old (the average life expectancy is just over 78 for Americans.).

My grandfather died at 78 with severe Alzheimer’s and dementia so it’s wild to me when I see people that age still be fully functioning members of society.

My grand dad died at 74 also with severe dementia, it was awful to witness. That was twenty years ago and I still remember vividly how he didn’t recognise any of us.

My grandma passed from dementia at 74 too. It’s crazy when I see people that age and older fine and kicking. She deteriorated so fast.

Fuck.

Hopefully, he recovers fully but this will affect his campaign, unfortunately.

I’m going to vote for whatever dem gets the nom but my top two are Warren and Sanders.
