I recently rewatched it and it was such a solid show up until the very, very last minute. How very Stephen King of it.

I always like your recs I’ll have to check this out.

Castle Rock combines "the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland."

I’ve not read all of King’s books is this necessary to understand or enjoy the show?

Cast looks good. I lol that it has a Culkin in it (Cory) that family is all over!

It’s not necessary to know all Stephen King lore. There were a few last season but nothing super major. You could always check the subreddit tho, if you do want to see what references they make!

It's not necessary imo. There's some far reaches to some of his works but for the most part a basic knowledge of King is good enough to catch most of the references.
