I’ve not read all of King’s books is this necessary to understand or enjoy the show?
Cast looks good. I lol that it has a Culkin in it (Cory) that family is all over!
It’s not necessary to know all Stephen King lore. There were a few last season but nothing super major. You could always check the subreddit tho, if you do want to see what references they make!
It's not necessary imo. There's some far reaches to some of his works but for the most part a basic knowledge of King is good enough to catch most of the references.
I loved the mood of the first season, and there were some really good episodes. It seemed like they were building up to something... and then it just fizzled. Hoping they do a better job with S2!
