plus rich people forget easily where their money comes from - my former boss is very loud about his extensive expertise in venture investment while in fact every penny he has came from borderline criminal corporate raids, but he kinda forgot about that. or this chick who probably truly believes herself to have an admirable career that is professionally viable and sustainable. and they will both be like, hey i made myself successful so you can too if you really really want it. yeah, that's not how it works, nor should anything about them be ~goals
