I saw it last night. It was good but idk it felt like something was missing? Like the film could’ve been even bigger than it was if that makes sense. J.Lo was really good but I wouldn’t say she deserves an Oscar, it was a pretty straightforward performance that she didn’t bring anything spectacular to. Lili Reinhart seemed out of place to me but she got a lot of laughs out of my audience so that made me happy for her lol. Cardi and Lizzo were def just extensions of their real selves but Cardi was hella funny and in it for more than I thought.

It was weirdly overhyped! Like it was fine but I don’t think it was worth the hoopla (and I think a lot of critics saw it w/ low expectations which probably made them like it more??)

similar thoughts. i wonder if it's because the build-up to the scamming turned out to be longer than the actual scamming and fall-out? felt like it went into fast forward mode at that point

I’m excited to see this!

Sucks for Constance tho - the film’s success could have been another moment for her, but her social media tantrum ruined it. She hasn’t made much good buzz since actually. Or maybe her PR team recommended for her to take things slow and easy but still.

I'm seeing it on Sunday! I haven't been to the theatre all summer because there was nothing I was interested in or felt I HAD to see in the theatre. So excited to be looking forward to movies again.

Nah sis, he's a weird looking Caucasian dude in his 20's. He still has plenty of chances before HW is totally done with him.
