'Hustlers' kicks off weekend box office with $2.5M from Thursday nigh previews

The critically acclaimed crime drama 'Hustlers' kicked off this weekend's box office, bringing in $2.5 Million from Thursday night previews, and is expected to bank around $20m-$26m (on a $20M budget). It may or may not take the top spot from 'It: Chapter Two', but it's too early to tell now.
Also out this weekend is the critically trashed failed Oscar bait 'The Goldfinch', which did not have Thursday previews and is expected to make around $7 million to $12 million from 2,542 venues (on a $40M budget).
Out in limited release are 'The Sound of Silence', 'Monos', and 'Freaks'.
