In 2019, Disney has already had 5 movies cross the 1$B worldwide mark (Aladdin, Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame, Toy Story 4, and The Lion King), and more are certainly to follow with "Frozen 2" and "The Rise of Skywalker".
But what about next year? Of course, they're not going to have 5 in the club, but which ones will make it?

the marvel properties are the safest bets, especially because of goodwill held over from avengers endgame for black widow and the main cast for the eternals.

Same friend also said she thinks that they're only announcing the 2020 film at D23, no other animation studio announcements. After the Gigantic film ended up scrapped I think they may be keeping things a bit more tight lipped. I was at D23 in 2015 and the song written for Gigantic was terrible.
