i love that film (i love the bbc P&P like 2% more maybe but its so close), its not my favourit book - in the book i find Mariannes ending sad, but fuck i love the movie!

same - and tbh this seems like a popular wish! the ones in existence are nice but neither of them is really great or does justice to the novel imo

I feel bad saying it because I love her in other things, but Sally Hawkins really totally undermines the 2007 one for me. And in the 1995 one they are too old!
