This show is crap but I’m kinda enjoying it lmao. I actually watched the movie recently and this is nothing like it at all? Like literally they have NOTHING in common except a few of the actors from the movie cameo’d in the show (I had no idea Bronze Yohn Royce was in them lmao he’s so distinctive) but anything else is like... huh?

I'm so happy Amber (and Greg but mostly Amber lbr) won Love Island. Tommy and Molly were so boring and whitebread and them winning would have been such an injustice.

I've watched the first four episodes of Four Weddings and while its not Great, its not thaaat bad either

I keep hearing ads for this show on podcasts I listen to and they're really weirdly wooden and robotic? Like the copy for them is JUST AWFUL. "It is a romantic comedy. Here is a list of the following romantic comedy elements: friendships, relationships (made AND broken), mocking contemporary social mores. Also, there will be a funeral." Like, that's a paraphrase but only barely. I don't know why that list is supposed to make me want to watch it when I know nothing about the characters or plot outside of the title.

The remake is painful imo. Very little chemistry to be found between anyone, corny and not in the fun way that tried and true rom coms can be, tries way too hard only to come off as woefully inauthentic. Can't even hate watch because it's too bland to elicit strong feelings one way or the other.
