I just watched the 5th episode and I don't think I can wait another week for the 6th!! It might be my favourite show of the summer along with Good Omen! I'm thinking about rewatching the first 5 again tonight.

i have to say I was excited about this but it felt very slow and weird at the beginning. I feel like it picked up about 2 episodes in and now I love it!

I've never seen Love Island UK but every single place i turn people are talking about. Even fictional shows are obsessed with it (euphoria and oitnb had characters watching it).

we definitely wanted an African-American woman to be the star, and we wanted a British Pakistani man to be the male lead. That felt different and worth doing.

They wanted an african american woman but then didnt cast one...

The show isnt good but I'll keep watching cause it's fine as background noise while I look at my phone. The show clearly wants [Spoiler (click to open)]maya and kash to end up together but like he almost married her best friend then humiliated her at the altar...there is no way you can write that where maya doesnt look like a shitty friend. No matter how they make ainsley be ok with it cause she finds love with that new guy who came into her shop (I assume). Still awkward. Tho oddly not as painful as watching maya/duffy

WATCH LOVE ISLAND UK. the most amazing reality show. knows it’s absurd, makes fun of themselves, and is such fun. it’s being released 5 eps at a time on hulu if you have it!

I think the last dating show I watched was like those vh1 flavor of love/tila tequila/bret michaels shows. I've lost all interest in shows like that.
