I love Eliot and Margo so much and Quentin was maybe 6th on my list of fave characters from the show... and YET the way the showrunners handled this has left such a bitter taste. And they continue to be smug.
I loved last season and I am in the minority but found Q's ending to be satisfactory. He had a nice send off and at least got to see his friends mourning and celebrating him which was touching. This will allow the other characters to step up. I liked him but I don't have hard feelings about the creative decision.
late to this post but i guess i'm one of the few people here who's excited for s5. i didn't love the s4 ending and i'm still upset at how they decided to go about it, but i think the show can survive without q + i just love the other characters so much (including alice)
bring it on, tbh. i just want alice and eliot to interact and for julia to get her personality back
I am still mad at the upset at the s4 ending and that we never got to see quelliot (hell Elliot never even got to see Q after they removed the monster from him). But I am excited to see Julia at the forefront now, but also mad she's not a goddess anymore.
yeah after all these months that's the thing that i'm most upset about still. i didn't need a q/eliot endgame, but the way it got relegated to subtext after 4x05 and completely ignored at the end... ugh. i hope they at least deal with it in a sensitive way going forward.
and i adore julia but she needs a better storyline than whatever boring anticlimax s4 was for her. would love it if they made it a julia/alice/eliot co-lead season
