I'm going to NYC for the first time with a friend in two weeks. We considered going to see something on Broadway but holy shit it's expensive. I think we'll save the $200 a ticket and find a drag bar in Brooklyn and tip the fuck out of the Queens. Any recommendations on Drag Bars in Brooklyn/Manhattan?

idk this helps, but when I visited NY my friends and I opted to do the Broadway Roulette and it's $49-59 a ticket. We ended up seeing Carousel before it closed and it was beautiful!

How much were the fees on top of that?
My partner and I are seeing Chicago in November but would love to see something else

Is the National Theater Live broadcast only showing in cinemas in the UK? :'(

That's all I'm seeing! Idk why, because usually NT Live stuff gets shown here, too. I could see not showing it if there was a run coming up in the states, but the New York run wrapped ages ago.

Idgi either, there's been plenty of other productions I've seen from NT Live and this is something I've been so jealous that other people have got to see since PWB is obviously a genius <3

You might be able to check your theater's website that does other events like this. Mine wasn't listed on the NT's site but it showed up for the theater.
