Sad about Waitress, but they had a great run. I got to see the tour in San Franciso last year and it was really amazing. The woman who played Jenna (whose name I'm blanking on currently) got the longest standing ovation I've ever heard after she sang "She Used to Be Mine."

I've never seen the show (hoping to catch it before the run is over), but that song came on the Broadway satellite radio station and I was crying @ the end. I'm sure it's even more powerful in person!

that's a bummer about waitress but to be expected considering the recent stunt casting as OP mentioned. it's one of my favorite shows i've seen. i always cry at "she used to be mine." i didn't see the OBC but I have seen it four times, the last with sara bareilles and gavin creel and they were so fucking perfect that I was like "yep, I'm good on this forever, this is how i want to remember it."

i would have loved to have seen waitress in general but especially when jeremy jordan was in it. there's a studio video of shoshana bean and jeremy singing bad idea and you matter to me that i've watched sooo many times because that's all i'll to see/hear.

I love Waitress. I hope Sara comes back once more before they close so I can see her again.

I tried seeing "My Fair Lady" twice this weekend. First on Saturday but the blackout happened and they cancelled the show. Then on Sunday but both elevators in my apt building didn't work and my mom couldn't go down 29 flights of stairs so we missed it, again. I'm guessing the universe doesn't want me to see it :/
