Renata (Laura Dern) deals with the fallout from Gordon’s (Jeffrey Nordling) legal troubles and attempts to help Celeste (Nicole Kidman). Bonnie (Zoë Kravitz) relives painful memories from her past. (Air Date: July 7, 2019)
There’s been good individual moments this season, but I still wish it stayed as a one season show. It all seems so aimless, and also that they are trying to pack too much into 7 episodes.
Mary Louise going after custody of the boys is not a shocker, everyone saw it coming. That slap was good. She’s always showing up unwanted and talking shit.
Idk what is going on with Celeste, if it’s really the Ambien or she’s just spiraling. The blackouts are not good.
I think Jane needs counseling, it’s good that she has such a good friendship with Celeste. But it must be weird for Celeste in having to be Jane’s only confidant. Especially about the trauma around Perry.
