i finally saw the last black man in san francisco. what a beautiful film! i was moved by the opening scene and the story kept me engaged throughout the two hours. of course it was visually stunning, just as promised!

the entire cast was great but jonathan majors stood out. i can't wait to see jordan peele's lovecraft country when it's finally released on hbo! imdb page

[Spoiler (click to open)]i was also thrilled to see my girl thora birch in this movie. however, my SO checked imdb before the movie and told me she was in it so i kept anticipating her during the movie. i was pretty sad to see she was just a no name character on a bus.

Ahhhh, so glad you loved it! And lol, SAME re: your spoiler. [Spoiler (click to open)] I saw her name when I was making the entry for this post, and I kept waiting for her to show up, and yeah, couldn't have been closer to the end/more anticlimatic, lol. But still, good to see her!

I really loved it too. I keep thinking about it and the music. The score is soooo enjoyable to listen to.

After binging insecure I'm in that post great tv show funk

I watched the first two episodes of game of thrones for the first time, I'm intrigued but I don't know how far I'll make it before dropping it

I'm also skimming some old seasons of survivor for fun, I fast forward through the boring bits lol

I'm seeing Yesterday tomorrow with my dad, hope it's good

yep it's our little (almost) weekly outing! it cracks me up though that I now see the change has happened where the parents needs come first, like as a kid I would get to pick the movie but now as an adult we see what he wants to see lol

I think Yesterday looks good. I finally saw Rocketman yesterday, so good! I'm most likely going to go see Endgame again with the re-release.
