Is there any other way to get rid of styes other than hot compresses? I'm considering going to a doctor for the ones that have appeared around my eyes.

the big thing is the hot compresses for sure (and making sure you're doing them for 15-20 min, 4 times a day, water temp very warm/hot, bearable and not burny but as warm as you can!), you can also wash your eyelids with a mild soap (baby products) on a q-tip, which helps.

otherwise, if it's getting infected over and over and you think you might have an infection or bacteria that keeps coming back you can go to a pharmacy and ask them for tobramycin or to the doc for it if you're in a country where you need a script.

i have a real problem with them right now and have developed 2 chalazions on the same eye.. it's awful and i didn't get grad photos cuz i can't stand the sight of them, but waiting for an appointment to have them removed now!

That is sad that her personality changed. I only know her from here, this was the first time i saw her in this type of format. It did really surprised me.

What was she like before. She is 21, so maybe some of the changing is just age...
