Speaking on glitter, I really shouldn't have, but I grabbed Rituel de Fille's LE Cygnus yesterday. How often will I realistically use a super sparkly red/blue duochrome? IDK. But it was just so shiiiiiiny.

I've got a slightly askew unicorn pimple on my forehead rn.

Does sun exposure cause or help with acne?

Sun exposure might seem to help initially (because it does dry up the active pimples) but you're only doing more skin damage in the long run.

Just make sure you’re wearing sunscreen that doesn’t clog pores, and get a little bit of sun by doing some activities (hiking, swimming, biking etc). My KP (permanent goosebumps) on my upper arms gets so much better in the summer because of sunshine.

Yay beauty post!!

Has anyone tried Maelove's Glow Maker? I'm about to order it

Also, I'm visiting Korea in a few months and I know I'll be overwhelmed by all the skincare- any rec's as to what to buy there? Brands?

I mean I wouldn't change my skincare regimen after watching this, but i'd rather hear someone's take on skincare if they have/had similar stuggles as me than someone with perfect skin telling me what to buy (mostly talking about chloe whatshername in those SK-II instagram ads)

I feel like there's this misconception that people with good skin will know more about skincare than people with skin problems. People who've always had good skin often tend to know less about skincare, because they never really needed to do much research/try out a lot of stuff to get good results. Of course there are also those people who used to have skin problems and managed to get them under control and now have good skin, but yeah, overall, just because someone has good skin doesn't mean they know a lot about skincare.
