back when i had spectrum cable i used to see commercials for it too... i'm pretty sure it replaced another channel. like spike maybe? idk i don't have cable anymore so idk channels lol

is it known why they canceled penny dreadful and then announced a new one immediately after? did the cast not want to come back?

I could be incredibly wrong but I think it was a combination of the showrunner wanting to quit that particular story with Vanessa and also Eva wanting to move on as well. Not that she didn't love the show, I don't think it was one of those situations.

i just wish there'd been a point to that hookup (i mean the whole show was mostly made up of loose ends...). i thought the dorian gray character was awful, mostly because that guy could not act and did not have the charisma required.
