I read the NYT article about it, and it was interesting. She said the PA/location person who brought her the original proposal really rubbed her the wrong way, and acted like the movie would be doing her a favor by paying her since they had a permit to film there regardless. All of the other shop owners on the block had agreed to filming, but they ended up moving the shoot a block away.

My boyfriend had to carry a bill with his name and address on it so he could get onto his own street when they were filming a Coke commercial there. Ridiculous.
