I just watched the first three episodes, I'm making myself take a break before continuing.

Also, I don't know if it was just me who thought this while watching...
[Spoiler (click to open)]do they throw in random shout out to the other works the actors have played in the past? Like, I caught Crowley/Tennant being called 'Doctor' which can be obviously a recall to Doctor Who, then he mentioned never trying oysters, which made me think of Casanova and now I'm wondering if it is just me or they do it on purpose, although I'm not much aware of Michael Sheen's works to be sure...

I binge watched the whole thing and uuuuuugh I loved it. It wasn’t a perfect show but it was a near perfect adaptation. As someone who’s been a fan of this book for 9 years i was really pleased.

[Spoiler (click to open)]I always kind of shipped them in the book but not too seriously - the book made it pretty clearly no homo. BUT THE SHOW. Even if they don’t explicitly go there (which i expected so I’m not mad about it) some of the scenes are really romantic imo. When Crowley saved his books and Aziraphale looks at him so lovingly with that romantic music playing. That whole exchange after Aziraphale gives him the holy water. “You go too fast for me.” Crowley asking him to run away with him twice. Uuuugh this show made me full on ship them.

I haven't read the book, but same regarding the show. Michael Sheen plays squishy characters so well. The look on his face all the damn time.
