Yes, but celebs like Chris Brown and R. Kelly are never really canceled. :( I see so many people like "I love their music too much to ever give it up!". It's depressing.

And the Cosby show and 7th Heaven are still on tv. :(

Exactly. Taking them off the aor for a few months is nothing. That's not making a statement. Taking them off the air forever would be.

I feel like 7th Heaven and the Cosby show are this weird grey area. I want the two assholes to never make a dime, but I hate that to punish them, the entire cast gets punished. Especially the people who played all the kids on the shows. Like, Barry Watson had so many health issues and to lose his residuals because the Dad was an abuser feels so unfair.

We are really acting any celeb or known person has actually been 'canceled' by cancel culture? Everybody is still alive and making money.
Also have never known somebody who was 'cancel culture is toxic' who just wasnt scared that they might get roasted for their dumb words, actions or beliefs.

ia, in my experience the general public doesn't know or care about most of the heinous shit various celebs have done. tbh I'm still finding out about shit that happened like 30 years ago

Yeah with the amount of information and content being thrown in our faces all the time, unless you're really paying attention like 95% don't know or care about actions that would get someone "canceled"
