It's possible. The credited song writer thing doesn't phase me, a lot of people who are "illiterate" are more like functionally illiterate where they can't read or write well but they can puzzle through some stuff. Like things are written down but they're riddled with the kind of spelling errors a first grader would make.
Also with assistants to write stuff down or even technology that transcribes text to speech it's possible he authored songs that way.
Anyway I would never make fun of R. Kelly for being illiterate, but he is a rapist piece of shit and I hope that he finally faces justice for what he's done to countless girls and women.
