LOL but I think outlets will always use "speculating" or "allegedly" if the celeb hasn't confirmed their pregnancy. I remember when Angelina Jolie was pregnant with her twins and looked ready to give birth and people were still calling it her "alleged" pregnancy because she refused to talk about it.

this angelina story reminds me when my friend at work was pregnant and looked ready to burst but she hadn't told people about it outright so we just pretended not to notice. i said to a mutual friend "she's pregnant right? are we allowed to talk about it?" and she told our pregnant friend when i went to get my lunch. when i came back the pregnant friend stared me down and was like "what did you ask ___(our mutual friend)" and was like "ummm well i was just asking if you had confirmed that you are pregnant?" and she stared hard at me and said "you think i'm pregnant?" and i was like oh shit and she started laughing and said she was and that she forgot she hadn't actually officially told the rest of us (she had only told our mutual friend)

Hahaha honestly you did the right thing it's best to be polite.

I know it's unlikely, but I've also read stories about women who have suffered late term miscarriages and have had to deal with well meaning questions from strangers so I don't EVER comment unless the woman in question tells me she's pregnant.

I guess I understand how the photos provide "proof" but I can't help but get pissed off about pregnancy speculation, especially with celebrities who tend to make official announcements. Women's bodies and lives get enough talk.
