I always think it's so strange that Edie went on to become such an icon, her life was horrible and depressing as fuck. People like young women who die tragically I guess.

I was thinking the same thing. Anyone who has read "Edie: American Girl" knows how utterly fucked her life was. I still wonder why she and Warhol fell out. He never mentioned her again, and when people would try to bring her up he would immediately change the subject.
