Booker is pretty meh to me, but one thing that I liked from him is in his PSA interview, he talked about how we think about the Founding Fathers as just being George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton etc etc. But we should change that thinking and include figures like MLK Jr and Susan B Anthony in our conceptualization of our Founding Fathers/Mothers. Idk. It stuck with me!
I think it came out that they were dating a few months before he announced? It didn't seem like they had been dating very long at that point (or they were *highly* undercover).
ETA: The article says that they reportedly started dating in December 2018 (and were seen out together in January), so it hasn't been long at all.
