They shouldn't have hired her in the first place imo. It seems wrong that actors have to go through big physical changes to play a role when they could just hire someone who already fits the part, but I guess Hollywood just cares about name recognition.

And Julianne Moore has been open about the fact that she’s basically starved herself for decades to maintain an acceptable figure in Hollywood. I’m sure the idea of gaining a ton of weight and then having to immediately lose it all is scary for an actress who’s constantly judged by their body
