Team Imagine Dragons and their fans. People who crap on stuff other people like or make are so joyless. And it’s particularly poor taste when other musicians do it. I’m glad he spoke out.

honestly, same. music is so subjective that unless someone is singing terribly off key at all times, who is to say what is the worst. just because you dont like their music doesnt make them shitty.

and really, i cant believe we're still using 'too commercial' as an insult. when a rock band gets played on the radio, they're somehow terrible but when its a pop star, we count the records.

I was listening to some podcast (Rolling Stone I think?) that said after shitting on emo bands of the 2000s, and seeing today's crop of artists saying they looked up to those bands, made them wonder if they should go easier on Imagine Dragons in case in the future they're seen in a better light.

Anyways, their stuff reminds me of early 2000s nu metal, so I'm shocked people love ID so much/their stuff is everywhere when nu metal was/still is shat on.
