In Spain, it's Yo Soy Bea and it's been a decade since it last aired but there are repeats on every single day.

Isn't "Yo soy Bea" a remake though? I've seen the episodes popping at work all this week and according to the Movistar+ description, Betty's full name is different. There are lots of international remakes.

it is, yo soy betty la fea, the colombian version, is the original. I think I watched a couple of episodes of the mexican adaptation and it was so bad, the ones the gringos made was nice but it just didn't have the same feel

That being said I like UB more, Daniel was a rich spoiled brat but he had great character development and he was a good guy, Don Armando was an abusive pos, Betty should have chosen the french guy

betty la fea really, actually, legitimately, was a CULTURAL moment for us spanish speaking folks. everyone and their mama watched this amazing timeless novela. RIP.
