Well, I haven't actually seen the movie/episode these are based on (something about Shaggy being hypnotized to be competent) but for me the hilarity is that Shaggy has this obvious fumbling, incompetent, chaotic energy and he's a coward who runs in fear from everything but is still endearing. So the idea that he has actually a chaotic demon/all powerful god is funny bc it plays off of his chaos but kind of subverts everything else about his character.
