Well now I'm bummed. No offense to Matthew but I REALLY wanted to see RDJ in something non-comics related again. And as a lawyer again to boot? Some of us miss Larry Paul, damn it.

This seems like a good post to share that I was clicking through wikipedia like a month ago and found out that Raymond Burr allegedly made up a wife who died on the same flight as Leslie Howard during WWII, a son from that marriage who died of leukemia, and another wife who died of leukemia. I was kinda shocked that I had to learn this from wikipedia, but maybe everyone collectively decided that being gay in Hollywood sucks and it'd be rude to draw attention to this.

Anyway, I can't wait to see my parents' outrage at a Perry Mason reboot!

Who is this show for? Just make a new show. The audience they're chasing doesn't remember the original.

It's true. My dad still watches the repeats of the original every day and even he was happy about the RDJ version. He was the one who told me about it. Now we'll both be disppointed.

Ugh. I won't pretend not to love the Marvel and Sherlock movies, but I'd love to see RDJ in another kind of role.
