Hey @kanyewest so cool that you’re here at @TheCherShow! If you look up from your cell phone you’ll see we’re doing a show up here. It’s opening night. Kind of a big deal for us. Thanks so much.

he seems like the type that'd have his phone on full brightness too. and also would obviously lose his shit if someone did that to him.

Everything about this is OTT wow.

ETA: My favorite musicals are Sweeney Todd, Grease, Book of Mormon, Hairspray, and Chicago. Probably in that order. I love Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin too but I don’t really count those, IDK. They’re top 10 for sure. I saw Hello, Dolly! this weekend and it was OK.

the dynamics of Cher and Sonny’s relationship made Kim and I grab each other’s hand and sing “I got you babe”
please pardon my lack of etiquette. We have so much appreciation for the energy you guys put into making this master piece.

I saw The Book of Mormon for the eighth time last night. Elder Price was a great actor, but he really noticeably struggled with the high notes/I Believe. It was stellar anyway, ofc.

And actors have every right to be angry about this, it's incredibly rude. Don't go to live theater if you can't live without your phone for two hours.

Andrew Rannells really made things difficult for all Elder Prices who followed him. I've seen in twice and felt bad for the Elder Prices because they didn't quite hit the notes I knew so well from the OBC soundtrack. Didn't they even lower the key after he left?

I remember Andrew joking about how early on in his involvement he kept telling them to make it higher so he would be harder to replace lmao.

It was definitely lower for this guy, at least. The other guys I've seen have also struggled a bit as compared to Andrew, but this was genuinely bad as opposed to just looking like it took some extra effort. He was great otherwise but sounded off key to me for those notes/some in You and Me (But Mostly Me) & cut a couple of them short.
