Yeah, i hadn't clicked on the tweet and read the texts before i posted, i was just going off of what was in the picture in the post. i made an inappropriate joking around comment without knowing the context.

Oh, I just tried to make a post about this. The big thing that was unsealed was Katy's deposition. Almost all of it was redacted when they originally released everything but Luke's team fought to get the whole thing released publicly:

-In the deposition Katy is asked what her reaction was to the text message conversation and she says she was pissed that Kesha would bring her into this and annoyed at both Luke and Kesha. When Luke's lawyer asked her why she was annoyed at Luke, she said he was using her as a pawn:
What was it that you were annoyed with Luke
A Because he knows I'm a tie breaker.
Q A tie breaker?
A Uh-huh.
Q Between them?
A Because when I say that I wasn't raped, because I was not, that means that someone's lying.When asked, she said the only people who know what happened are Luke and Kesha

this is honestly fair, i rly dislike katy but she has no business being brought into this, if she doesn't want to. i feel horrible for kesha and i can understand her frustration since they seemed to be bffs for a hot minute but that tiebreaker shit is legit. she didn't want to lie but she didn't want her denial to affect kesha's case

well that leaves out quite a bit, she also says it's not in his character to rape someone, she talks about 'innocent until proven guilty', she says she only didn't work with him on her new album because she knows she'll face a smear campaign and it will hurt her streaming numbers.

Yeah, that's what I meant by "admitted" but I should clarify that she thought working with him after the lawsuit would hurt her career.

If she says she wasn’t assaulted by Dr.Luke then she wasn’t. I understand thinking someone can make or break your case by speaking up but she isn’t obligated to do so, especially if she were assaulted by him. That doesn’t make her mean, unless they’re both referring to different situations. But it doesn’t seem like it from the text.
