I saw Beautiful Boy and it was...fine. Tbh Timothee’s acting is the only thing that elevated it above a Lifetime-esque PSA. also someone needed to tell the music director to calm tf down bc they were doing the most.

I enjoyed the film, but Steve Carell really could not sell me a dramatic character- I thought he was a terrible choice for the dad.

What have you watched recently, ONTD?
Wildlife - Liked it a lot. A very good directorial debut for Paul Dano, beautiful cinematography and Carey Mulligan is fantastic in it

High Life - Hated it, worst movie I've seen this year. 5 people walked out. Poor directing, shit cinematography, but decent performance by Pattinson

What do you plan on seeing this weekend?
I reaaaally have to see Girl before they remove it from theaters
