I won free tickets to Suspiria and I still don't know if I can handle it.

Oh man, you should totally go!! Just cover your eyes if a scene gets to be too much.

Your dad appreciates the acting range of Hugo Weaving! How many people can pull off Mitzi and Agent Smith and Elrond?

Late Phases: werewolf flick that I watched last night. been meaning to watch it for a while and really liked it. good fx, good story, great acting.

Last weekend I watched The Other Side of the Wind and the documentary about it, They'll Love Me When I'm Dead. The first was really odd, and the second provided a lot of context as to why that was the case. I don't think anyone will regard it as a classic, but it was interesting and extremely meta. I would not recommend watching one and not the other; maybe even watch the documentary first.

My husband has somehow never seen Citizen Kane, so I got the blu-ray; any other Welles recs?

I also saw Bad Times at the El Royale, which I enjoyed for what it was, and for getting to see so much of Chris Hemsworth's torso! His accent was laughable, though.

Between this film, A Bigger Splash and Suspiria, I am into Dakota Johnson now.
