I'm SHOOK @ Predatory Wasp getting #1 because I just thought it was a special little niche song for us gays but omg yes yes yes a thousand times yes I'm so happy and I couldn't agree more.

My personal top 5 are:
1.) The Predatory Wasp of the Palisades is Out to Get Us
2.) Casimir Pulaski Day
3.) Death With Dignity
4.) Futile Devices (Doveman Remix)
5.) The Man of Metropolis Steals Our Hearts

A lot of his earlier music is kind of avant-garde, full of big brass instruments, and not as universally-listenable imo. Like I love it but I get why a lot of people can't get into it. I recommend Carrie & Lowell, which is his most accessible album imo, albeit it's quite heartbreaking.

This is me. I’ve tried years ago, didn’t like it. Saw that ONTD has a big ass crush on him and his music. Tried it again, still nothing. I have an eclectic taste in music and I like loads of avant-garde music. I don’t get it.

He has a beautiful voice and I really do like "Visions of Gideon" from CMBYN but I honestly only made it through that one because it was in the movie. His songs are so melancholy and I really can't get through them without feeling like a fricking obese cat just sat on my chest.

Sometimes when I feel like I need to cry I spotify him tbh. But otherwise I just can't do it, lol.
