http://www.firstshowing.net/schedule2018/ has just titles, if that's any better! and I've linked all of my indie posts together, so you can click on one of the previous dates to read summaries of ones you may have missed.

This week I watched:
Djinn - Tobe Hooper's last feature; takes place in the United Arab Emirates
Nightbreed - I watched the director's cut
Infestation - fun horror comedy streaming on Prime; too bad about the ending tho
Corridors of Blood - old one starring Boris Karloff
The Wailing - oh my god! so damn good!

This weekend is Brooklyn Horror Festival and I'm seeing House of Sweat and Tears, a woman-directed film about a cult, and Antrum: The Deadliest Film Ever Made, which I'm sooo excited about!!! I'll try to squeeze in 1 or 2 other horror films at home to knock out for my film challenge.

Have fun at the festival this weekend, I hope both the films you're seeing are good!

Just read the summary for The Wailing and am putting it on my to-watch list. I remember seeing you rave about it in another post, and it sounds up my alley.

Thanks bb!!! I will definitely let you know how the movies go!

Oh yes, definitely watch The Wailing. It has a really long run time just fyi. That's mostly why I put off watching it for so long, lol. But I felt engaged the whole time and it's definitely the kind of movie you'll want to talk about after!

I've been debating whether I should see First Man or not. I'm not particularly interested in it but it's probably gonna be nominated for best picture so I feel like I should.

i only want to see it in imax because i expect it's more of an ~~experience~~ like dunkirk was, rather than just a movie

We don't even have IMAX so maybe it's not worth it. Plus my quest to see all the (likely) BP nominees is gonna be ruined by If Beale Street Could Talk anyway, which currently has a release date of "Undated 2019" ffs. Of course it has to be the one film that I'm most excited to see.
