Indie Film Release Guide: October 12th [An ONTD Original]

Oct 11, 2018 12:26

First Man, Bad Times at the El Royale, and Goosebumps 2 are the big studio pics opening wide this weekend, and in combination with all of the indies coming out this weekend, there’s really something for almost everyone. Rupert Everett's Oscar Wilde pic The Little Prince is finally being released in theaters in the US, Tiffany Haddish's The Oath is coming out to compete with her current box office success Night School, and Steve Carell serves us some drama in Beautiful Boy.

The films listed are from studios other than the “Big Six” - Paramount, Warner Brothers, 20th Century Fox, Universal, Columbia and Disney. Note that some of the movies listed are in their first week or two of limited release in the USA, so it may take them a few more weeks (or months) to show up in your local arthouse theater or on VOD. Check out the posts from the past few weeks for more movies that may have just opened near you: October 5th, September 28th, and September 21st.
