The style and humor of Murphy Brown hasn't evolved since it went off the air, but IDC.

It's nostalgic and warm and comforting. It's what I need right now!

Good riddances. I’ll take this tbh.

Total viewers don't really matter though. The fact last Man standing still had a higher demo with less viewership means it more profitable to the advertisers, especially on a lower viewing night.
lms did drop more, but it also had to self start while Murphy Brown is last in a comedy block.

Not defending lms, I neither watch nor care for it, but just objectively looking at the ratings.

Total viewers may not matter to advertisers but they matter to me. And that drastic drop also matters (to me)

It’s the final season, so maybe they feel like they don’t have to?

ngl murphy brown isn't even that funny (it gives me a handful of chuckles per episode) but i keep watching it, for some reason. it's a decent way to spend 20 minutes of my week. plus candice bergen's still got it, and the scenes with her son are actually heartwarming and feel fresh. the rest of it feels pretty dated, but whatever. i like it.

Idk, something about the bar conversation with the new owner and her interview candidate was just really awkward and not in a funny way. I’m not sure I can keep watching this reboot, they seem to be trying too hard. I can’t figure out how to put it into words.

Whyyyyyy did FOB get moved to Friday anyway?! Is the Friday Deathslot no longer a thing?

It was down in ratings for the Tuesday block and ABC wanted to relaunch TGIF...

Yeah MB is definitely trying to hard, ill stay loyal through this season but if they manage to get a S12 they need to improve a lot and get back to basics.

ABC is trying to revive TGIF, FOX/CBS have managed to make Fridays work with their shows (even though LMS was doing similar numbers on ABC at the time)
