They probably would ruin it as they ruined Supergirl. I just don't want Gotham to end at this point. :( It's really found its footing and this season has been so good.

SPN is pretty much their highest rated show (i know!) and they never gave it a spinoff

Nah, they tried a backdoor pilot a couple of years ago, and it sucked and was never picked up for series (in no small part due to the fact that it had little to do with the source material). The Wayward Sisters pilot was worlds better, was well received, and had a huge amount of support from the fans.
