I had to watch that for a class I took in college about witchcraft as an example of a modern day witch hunt. It was pretty recent at the time and I was always glad to have heard about it early. (The class was otherwise terrible.)

I’m obsessed with the Paradise Lost and West of Memphis documentaries. It’s just wild and so sad that we might never know for sure who killed those boys.

WM3 is one of the cases I'm the most obsessed with. True Crime Garage had a few amazing episodes about it if you wanted to check it out. I thought I knew almost everything about the murders, but they added so much extra stuff in there that I hadn't heard before.

I kinda want to give Trust a try because I always end up enjoying what ever Danny Boyle is a part of (minus Trainspotting). Change my mind, ONTD 😖

Do cults fall under true crime? Or is true crime just explicitly murder? https://www.timesunion.com/news/article/NXIVM-co-founder-Keith-Raniere-charged-in-federal-12782354.php

true crime mostly involves murder and the actions surrounding it. i only think certain cults are considered true crime, like the manson family who committed murders. jonestown and waco wouldn’t technically be considered true crime because murder isn’t the sole story surrounding those groups.
