#Reign will no longer reign over the CW - after next season, that is. https://t.co/GbTUmaPx1i pic.twitter.com/XToi6giBJu

The upcoming season 4 will be its last.

Surprised it made it past 13 episodes, tbh. And I say this as someone who watches this mess.

television - cw, reign (cw), cancellation

Yeah, and they moved it into the spring, which I could see being good for the story but bad for business.

On one hand, it'll be free of the TVD shackles since it's resuming after TVD has ended, and they can stop trying to force crossovers that don't work narratively.. on the other, people who only watched because of the risk of TVD crossovers will be over it + there's nothing to connect it with anymore.

I love The Originals even though they keep killing people I like, so I'm hoping it doesn't end. :(

They have two shows ending and both No Tomorrow and Frequency are under performing. I'm sure netflix ratings will be the deciding factor for NT and Frequency, but I don't know if the CW would be willing to end BOTH TVD and TO the same year. I could see TO keeping a Friday slot for another shortened season. Something needs to air on Friday and CEG is never probably never gonna get a full season order so in theory they need at least 4 shows for that slot for fall and spring.

Also, they're still forcing an unnecessary crossover on TO with Alaric this season.

Ughhhh there is no point in any Alaric crossover at all, whyyyyyy. :|

Just give me Hayley and Rebekah and Freya being awesome, that's all I want, since they've ruined my hope for a Freya/Davina/Bonnie witchy badassery trio.

Introduced you to Megan Follows?! Girl, you've never seen the 1985 Anne of Green Gables?

OT but hey, did you know that Emily Skrutskie released the first three chapters of the sequel to The Abyss Surrounds Us??

:-)

Have you seen the new version of Anne of Green Gables? I haven't yet, don't really know if I will like it because Megan's version is pretty perfect to me. Having Martin Sheen as Matthew just seems wrong. XD

And looking at the YT comments - ah, I didn't know that the guy who played Gilbert died! :-/ He was too young.

(sorry for the late response, was at work)

“How many teenage girls do you know who are obsessed with history - I wasn’t at that age,” Adelaide interrupted again, when one TV critic noted that the series story, while fascinating, was not Mary’s fascinating story
