Tom Burke confirmed to star in BBC's 'The Cormoran Strike Mysteries', J.K. Rowling comments https://t.co/B7CeSL2wlb pic.twitter.com/BXOBoF4yKi

- He's from The Musketeers and Only God Forgives and some other stuff
- Jo says she approves and he's "massively talented," etc
- seven-part series (three parts "Cuckoo's Calling," two parts "Silkworm," two parts "Career of Evil"), airing some time next year
- no word on Robin or anyone else

Um, well, not who I pictured at all; he seems too young, though I guess he's technically not. I'm glad they didn't go with Tumblr's ideas; the books say like 900 times that he's not conventionally handsome and looks like a "boxing Beethoven," so of course the fangirls are like "TOM HARDY!! IDRIS ELBA! ♥♥" Whatever, I'm sure he'll be good.
