I hated this show. I saw it a few times, but the songs were just so annoying. Not because they didn't have talent, but because their covers were just usually awful and cheesy.

I think it was a victim of its own success in a way. The dark tone got smoothed out once Fox realized what a money making machine it was. Plus Ryan Murphy shows always take a turn to crap very fast and season 2 and the rise of St. Kurt was the WORST because the show couldn't decide if it wanted bullying to be funny or a serious issue to tackle.

UGH, St. Kurt and St. Finn were THE WORST. I know people rage on Blaine, but to me Blaine was just an extension of Kurt that just took a life of its own. St. Finn... I can't even go into that. Two of the douchiest characters I've seen.

It's so interesting/bizarre how this show turned out.

I'll always have fond memories of the first season. I still like some of the covers, and I genuinely really enjoy their first Christmas album. The following Christmas albums are just ok to me

season 1 of this show was truly everything. i've rewatched it probably like 5 times

ik it obviously sucked but i watched all 6 seasons of this damn show, because of how much i love the cast. things felt so much sadder obviously after cory passed. he was such a goofball :(

lmao this show was so big that the guy who edited our high school senior year goodbye video used the cover of Don't Stop Believing as the video song and to answer your question OP: I tapped out before season 2 ended.

It's a shame, the first half of season 1 was probably one of the best teen shows I've ever seen with some pretty dark humor sprinkled throughout the show, but they bought into their own hype during the second half of season 1 that the show never really recovered from it. That being said I still listen to some of the songs from season 1.
