would californication be entertaining for someone who isn't thirsty af? when it was airing it seemed to me like it was just david duchovny fucking a bunch of women.

I didn't watch all the season but honestly I thought David was the least entertaining to watch, the side characters made that show

I couldn't get into the show at all. I got about three episodes in before I realized I hated it because it was just piles of manpain. Boohoo you lost your "muse" and fuck models to compensate and you don't understand your preteen daughter and you fucked a teenager but somehow she's the bad guy in that scenario. Wah wah wah.

You shut your whore mouth! This TV show is perfection and always will be. Best therapy I ever had.

True Detective. Well, it didn't really lose steam as much as it drove off a cliff and explode but still.

The 1st season of Gossip Girl was perfection. I did stick with the show and finished all seasons no matter how horrible it became. Lol.

s1 of GG was actually pretty good, ia. the characters made sense, the plotlines were interesting (Serena confessing to Blair "i killed someone" was actually a good twist imo)… i actually even liked Chuck in s1, and i have never hated so much on a fictional character as i hate Chuck lol

I'm still mad because the show started going off the rails in the tail end of season one after the writer's strike because they completely abandoned the "Serena/Blair take down the Upper East Side" thing.

I feel like that's a Josh Scwartz trademark. I can't speak for Chuck but Gossip Girl and The O.C. had amazing first seasons that I worship to this day. He knows how to reel you in and then disappoint you later.
