Let us celebrate first with booze. Who's up for a Metallicaritini?

(as Sandra Lee, aka my cooking enemy, always devises, ANYTHING can be called a -tini so long as it's a total boozefest)

Sandra Lee is so evil I'm surprised kosher salt doesn't repel her.

Fantastic idea, this! I love recipes. Soon as I have time, I'll start digging into my collection for ideas, but in the meantime, here's a drink I "invented" that I call, simply, The Winchester. It's basically a screwdriver with the addition of Pama (pomegranate liqueur), which is a beautiful dark red color. Screwed and bloody, see? It is delicious, and pretty potent (like Dean!).

The Winchester (Screwed & Bloody)

Pour a jigger of vodka into a tumbler. Add approximately 1/2 jigger of Pama pomegranate liqueur. Add ice, and fill the rest of the tumbler with orange juice. Mix well and enjoy!

Unsuspecting co-star

Combine 1 parts egg nog with 10 parts rum. Give to unsuspecting co-star. Wait 20 minutes. Remove pants.

Haha! I've got this one. ^_~

1 quart supermarket brand egg nog
1 bottle Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum
Dash of nutmeg and cinnamon

Pour egg nog into two glasses, leaving plenty of room for the rum. Add nutmeg and cinnamon. When that doesn't look like enough, add more. Finish filling the glasses with rum. Serve.

When older brother notices the kick, add some more rum.

Get sloshed.

WIN!

Except I'd make it a box of Jello, 'cause I'm pretty sure Papa Winchester would just grab the first thing that was vaguely near the pudding without even checking to make sure it WAS pudding.

Just snap your fingers.

Or:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/2 teaspoons grated orange zest
1 rounded cup semisweet mini chocolate chips
1 sonic screwdriver

Stir all ingredients together (except the chocolate chips) in a mixing bowl. Lightly oil/butter a pan and pour out your pancakes, adding a teaspoon or so of chocolate chips on top. Just before serving, zap them with the sonic screwdriver: instant time loop!
